Buyers, Sellers Fighting ‘Distribution’ Tug of War…
I’m very excited about this conversation because it combines a couple of things that have been a touchstone for my trading.
Number one is understanding market behavior. The psychology of the market that is represented by the candles or the collection of candles on key indicators that we’re looking at.
The second thing is, “How does it apply to what’s happening right now?”
What is current market behavior?
Distribution is chop and the chop is a wide, unpredictable volatile market behavior in a non-trending market. Most of us use some sort of indicators with candles and in doing so, we notice that the candle colors are rapidly shifting.
For my style of trading, I use my GRaB candles. I know that the blue candles represent neutral psychology, the red candles bearish psychology, and the green candles bullish psychology.
What is the shifting of the candle colors telling you?
There is a tug of war going on amongst buyers and sellers and it’s all happening in this range. Distribution is a normal part of the markets but is very difficult to trade.
So, here’s the big question… “what do I trade (or not trade) in this market?”
