Control Day Trading Risk With Options

I don’t typically play the first 30 minutes of the day (or the clearing range). Not to say you can’t trade in that time but be warned — the more volatility… the higher the risk. I’m a conservative trader, but sometimes there are trade setups that I like in that window even though they are aggressive (higher risk trades).

So, how do I take that trade and avoid risking too much or simply more than I can or should risk?

I use an alternative — trading options instead of futures.

In this video, you’ll learn how I minimize my risk by trading the QQQ instead of the NQ. If you’ve got the right tools, you can confirm that there’s a setup that can be built.

If you’re well-versed in multiple asset classes, you’ll see and be able to lower your risk by taking the trade through options instead of futures.
